Natural Sun Screen SPF30

I have never used sun cream purely because I never sunbathe and when I have had to be in the sun I've never burnt. However I got skin cancer and had to have a skin graft and told to use sun cream always. I was dreading putting this on as I have very sensitive skin and had many allergic reactions. I did a couple of test areas with no reaction so then put it on my skin graft from under my nose and through my lip...no reaction whatsoever. I find it easy to apply and doesn't make my skin dry and tight. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately this sun cream has such an awful smell I couldn't bear to use it. When I first applied it the smell was so strong it made my eyes water and actually made me feel a bit sick. I asked a friend if she'd like it because I didn't want to just throw it away because it was expensive, but my friend also thought it smelt awful and so I couldn't even give it away! I did read a review of someone who said it smelt nice! So maybe it is a personal thing. But definitely not for me!

I have fair, sensitive skin with periods of redness and itchiness. I'm in the middle of one of those breakouts and I was looking to replace my usual regime with natural products in the hope that my skin will calm down.
First impressions are:
- feels great on my skin, like a layer of silky protection
- without having any colour, it has oddly managed to hide the redness to a great degree; I would still use my foundation to go to work but I will happily go out to the shops or at the gym with only this product on
- It is really, truly non-shine! It looks natural, without being matt
- when I applied it a second time, I got the hint of some whiteness but that's all it was - a hint. My skin is quite fair so I expect this might be more noticeable for someone with darker skin but still much better than other sunscreen products with natural-only filters
- I was expecting a battle to get it out of the tube based on other reviews but it was fine, didn't have to warm it or anything
Overall, this is a great product and, unless my reactive skin decides otherwise further down the road, this will definitely become part of my daily routine

Good suncreen that does not leave an odd smell or greasy feel. However, I would like more guidance on how to use it - the How to Use section is empty. The sun screen is very thick and although the guide says to use 'two fingers' on every body part, I don't know what that means - I guess it is referring to a tub of sunscreen? I am applying it in even dabs across my face and neck but am not sure if this is enough.

I can't seem to edit my existing review but I had previously stated that this has a neutral smell. At first application, it has a mild smell but, to me, this soon fades. However, I wanted to update on this as my SO has commented that it smells a bit strong close up.

Very relieved to have found a natural sun screen without fear of nanoparticles. It does the job well and does smell nice and I feel confident that I won't burn when wearing it. However, it is a little thick which I'm not hugely fond of, but I can put up with that. I don't know if it could be made thinner without compromising on the quality and effectiveness?

When I first tried this sun screen I was like - 'This looks weird... it has a strange texture.' But once I've applied to my skin I've liked it. It does leave your skin moisturized, it does not make it greasy or oily as other sun screens do. And it does protect well too. So, like with many odylique products, I'm not going back.

This is so so calming on the skin, feels really nice. I was looking for a sun screen for my very oily t zone og all over poreclogging skin. This is perhaps the first sunscreen I've used that actually hold truth to it's s statements about being non clogging. The consistency was a little scary at first, since it's a little oily. But once you warm a little bit in between your hands, it's becomes balm-like, and you can pat your face, without overdoing it. It leaves a lovely tone on skin, it becomes so fresh and it has a nice blurring effect of discoloration and lines. I've had no breakouts caused by this - I think the karanja oils antiseptic properties helped this.

I purchased Natural Sun Screen SPF30, to help prevent further "Brown liver/age spots" as I was advised to use a sun screen that contained zinc, which this product does. On using this product, I was very pleased with the way it was easily absorbed into my skin and amazingly I haven't had any "outbreaks" of any kind, just completed an order for a second tube as I intend using it through the autumn and winter months too.

Ordered two lots of sun cream recently my husband used it for the first time today as he is bald which makes him vulnerable to sun burn even on a cloudy day. He said he liked it so far as it does not leave a white film across his head. We both intend to use it when we go on holiday next week. You can not compromise with what goes onto the skin and then absorbed into it.

Like so many people commented before, it is very hard to squeeze the cream out of the tube. Perhaps this cream should come in a tub? Having said that, I am very happy with this cream. It is easy to apply on the skin, not too greasy and does not clog the pores. Also very glad to know that this cream does not have any of the harmful nano-particles.

I too struggled with squeezing the cream out of the tube however I like the creamy texture which feels more like a body lotion than some other natural sun creams I have used. The big test was on my hand which suffers with contact dermatitis as usually I avoid putting sun cream on this in case of irritation. I decided having had amazing results with the Repair Lotion and other Odylique products to chance it. I can confirm that there was no irritation whatsoever. Certainly the best sun cream I have used as non drying and no perfume.

My son & I have been unable to use suncream without coming up in sore, red welts. It seemed as if we had to compromise between sore itchy skin, staying out of the sun altogether or risking sun damage. No more... yes, it's pricey but it works. I've used it on my face with success - I'm normally scratching away within minutes of application. So I'm ordering 2 bottles to take away on holiday with us.
It feels quite greasy upon application, but settles in quick enough. It does leave a slight yellow stain on white clothes, but this seems to wash out easily enough. It also smells lovely.
