Gentle Herb Shampoo

I don't have a sensitive scalp or problem hair in general. The reason why I use Odylique is because I want to avoid all the nasty chemicals you normally find in skincare products, at times even with brands that label themselves as 'natural'. Odylique is a brand I feel I can trust.
The first time I used this shampoo my hair felt like a birds nest (I have long, thick hair)! It was all tangled up and definitely in need of a conditioner. I wasn't sure it was right for me but because I had a whole bottle I used it anyway. Im so glad I did! With time my hair just got better and better. Now I just can't go without this shampoo! My hair feels soft and has loads of volume. Something I don't experience with other shampoos. I don't need a conditioner either. I just use the Ultra Balm for the ends but more for styling than for moisture. I highly recommend this shampoo and don't give up even if you might not feel convinced the first time you use it. Its a terrific product.

Our family has been using the shampoo for the last 6 years. I first came across it as my first born had very severe eczema. The kids have grown out of it gradually but it is the only shampoo they have ever used since birth. We all use it and I have long hair but it is always nice and shiny with no split ends. Conditioner is not required but is it better without it. My experience tells me it is usual commercial conditioner making our hair greasy because that kind of shampoo strips everything off so the hair requires rich conditioner. Seriously, my loyalty to shampoo tells everything!

I LOVE this shampoo. I recently switched to Odylique from a popular shampoo brand after doing a home patch test and realizing that the harsh chemicals in it were a big cause of my eczema. Naturally, I did a home patch test with Odylique too and absolutely nothing appeared on my skin! It's taken almost two weeks for my skin to recover from the popular shampoo brand. This shampoo foams up quite nicely too but it takes a bit more work than a 'normal' shampoo. I do find it difficult not to use so much because I have long, thick hair. Unlike others that have reviewed this product, I do unfortunately need a conditioner as well. My hair just felt too heavy without conditioner. The only negative point I have is to do with the price. When you jump from £6 to £22 for a bottle of shampoo of the same quantity you definitely notice the difference in your bank. But at the moment I will stick with Odylique while my skin heals. Being a new customer to Odylique I bought the sample size of this shampoo to try. I make face creams and body butters but cannot get a shampoo base right (smelly castile soap is not for me!) I have tried many shampoos on the market to help my ultra sensitive skin condition but each one left me with sore and very inflamed areas around my eyes which would take over a week to calm down and the amount of unsuitable ingredients in each have left me stunned. I'm now SO happy to have found my perfect shampoo, it is fantastic. Previously I would treat my hair with a carrier oil in place of a treatment conditioner (which is so messy to do) before I shampooed my hair but it is not necessary to use anything else with this gentle product. I love that it is not heavily perfumed and the main bonus is that it has left my hair so soft and manageable. I have salt and pepper coloured hair (being over 60) but this has revived it's condition. This shampoo does not disappoint and I have to say a huge thank you for making this and making me happy to wash my hair again.

A year ago, I was looking for a new shampoo that was natural, organic and free from chemicals. I came across Odylique's Gentle Herb Shampoo and have been using this ever since! Brilliant at cleaning hair, lathers well and smells good too. Been recommending it to friends and family!

I read the reviews and bought the trial size, I have so many problems with shampoos causing scalp problems that I didn't really think this would be any different but I was so wrong! Love the shampoo, love how my hair feels and even more, love how my scalp feels.

I alternate between this shampoo and your tea tree shampoo to keep my hair looking shiny, and love them both. Both very gentle and both very effective.

This shampoo has worked wonders for my very itchy scalp. It doesn't foam, but cleans beautifully, leaving my hair soft and silky. Very happy with this product.

I have been using this shampoo for a while and can say with a 100% certainty that it is the best I have ever used.

I have always been trying to use a natural shampoo and therefore tried using baby shampoo as a cheaper alternative. However, even baby shampoo you can buy in the supermarket is packed full of chemicals..It dries out my scalp and leaves it greasy the next day.

With this one, my hair feels and looks fresh for much longer than usual and my dry scalp problem has disappeared.

It is a bit pricey but well worth the investment! After all, quality has its price :)

I am in love with this shampoo as it truly cleanses and smells wonderful. I used to suffer from occasional psoriasis in my scalp until I found this. Definitely recommend!
