Gentle Herb Shampoo

I bought this for my husband who has dry skin on his scalp. He had been using other branded tea tree oil shampoo for years when it stopped being effective and I began a search for something else. This is an expensive shampoo, but not much is needed. It's looser in formulation than most shampoos, and particularly for short hair, the bottle will last a good long while. This shampoo brings immediate relief to dry scalp discomfort after use and is slowly working to restore balance to his scalp. I myself have used it a few times too - it doesn't smell particularly fragrant, but I don't mind that considering it's such a lovely quality and safe product. I have medium length hair, and find I still need a bit of conditioner at the ends of my hair after using this, but I just apply a little coconut oil or Odylique balm to damp ends for that. Would definitely recommend this product.

I was recommended this by a family member as I have a very sensitive scalp, my hair is thick and wavy but gets greasy so quickly due to how dry my scalp is and it seemed like every shampoo I tried made it worse. I'd have bouncy hair for half a day but was literally washing my hair every day.

This product was a bit pricier but I read all the reviews, I knew it wouldn't lather (although it was still a shock!) so I methodically worked it through my scalp, thoroughly massaged it in and left it on for 5 minutes. I also took the plunge and eliminated conditioner from my hair routine. The first time I dried my hair it still felt weirdly unclean whilst it was wet but once it was dry it looked great AND after a few uses I managed to space out my hair washes back to every 2-3 days. I go through one bottle maybe every 6 weeks. I also don't actually use that much as I don't feel the need to actually wash the rest of my hair, ie: anything other than about an inch or 2 down from my scalp.

I would highly recommend this, might take a few washes to get used to and it has no scent but my scalp sensitivity has dissapeared and I feel much happier with the lack of chemicals being applied to my body.

I received a free sample of this shampoo with my last order and absolutely loved it. Had been searching for a natural shampoo bar to eliminate packaging but given up, so for me this is the next best thing. My hair is fine, thinning, coloured and dry at the ends due to too much sun and both texture and shine were instantly improved, as well as my scalp feeling wonderful.

This year has been the worse for me with my scalp. Nothing has worked and everything has aggravated my scalp and hair. As a result I have had hair loss. This product saved my hair and scalp, it,s wonderful. I am African American and have a really tight curl but this softens my hair and makes it manageable, life saver.

This shampoo has helped me reduce the amount of hair I lose. Compare to other organic gentle herb shampoo I've tried, this one works the best.

I was rather sceptical about this product as I've always had to plaster conditioner onto my hair - especially after I had some highlights put in to try and get myself used to going lighter (as I wanted to let the grey grow through). Nothing seemed to work and my hair was a mess.
I tried this for the first time a few weeks ago and didn't feel confident when I saw how little lather there was but I thought I'd risk it and go without conditioner. I was amazed! I was expecting dry, frizzy hair but it was soft and well conditioned ... I couldn't quite believe it, especially as we are having a heatwave at the moment so my hair is drier than it normally would be.
Highly recommend this product and will be buying more - feels very freeing not to have to use conditioner (and saves a lot of time!)

I have a very sensitive scalp and have tried a multitudes of different natural hair shampoos/cleansers. I have also tried making my own. I wanted something simple and effective. I could not use a shampoo product without tea tree, otherwise itching and sores set in. With this shampoo - no itching, no sores, no break out and no build up on my hair. It is also simple to use and does not require a special rinse. The scent is delicate.

I've been using this shampoo 3 times a week for 3 -4 weeks and have been surprised at the results. I bought this shampoo out of curiosity, rather than because I have any hair/scalp problems, other than fine hair which no longer as thick as it used to be. I also liked the idea of using a shampoo without synthetic chemical ingredients.

The lack of lather did feel strange at the start, and occasionally I still wonder if there's enough lather for the shampoo to clean my hair properly - but it always does! After donkey's years of always feeling the need to use conditioner to stop my hair being too flyaway, I took the plunge and stopped using it with this shampoo. Well... my hair is easier to dry, shinier, just as manageable and my loosely curly hair is now getting curlier! I'm very impressed with this shampoo and look forward to reaping further benefits, although I'll be more than happy if my hair stays as it is now.

I bought a sample of this product for my partner who has always suffered from a very dry scalp and he was really impressed. After just one wash, his hair was so much clearer than it usually is after washing, and after the second wash it was even better. I will definitely be buying a bottle of this for him!

I bought a trial size of this shampoo as I was really impressed with the reviews. It smells gorgeous but my hair felt terrible after using it, maybe you have to use it for a while first but I didn't want to spend all that money on a full sized bottle if my hair was going to look and feel awful. However, what I will say is that my hair has historically been quite selective in what agrees with it so I feel that I am probably a minority that it doesn't work for rather than a majority.

After searching for a shampoo with no harmful chemicals and fragrances etc I was delighted when I discovered this one. It effectively cleans my hair yet feels gentle.

I have dry curly hair and used moisturising shampoo and conditioner and then leave in conditioner. Now I use this shampoo and wipe the excess ultra balm I've used on my dry skin off my hands onto the ends of my wet hair. It saves me so much time and hassle. My hair is so shiny and soft too.
