Product Overview

"This stuff is amazing! I've been using it together with the herb shampoo on my very tangly hair and it is a dream. I only use the tiniest amount and the brush glides through. It is also great for dry skin patches. Because you only use such a tiny amount, I can see it lasting for ages." Emma, Odylique Customer

Providing intense hydration for very dry skin and skin prone to eczema, Ultra Rich Balm supports the skin’s natural barrier function and helps protect it from the drying effects of heat, cold and wind, without blocking pores.

Apply anywhere on the body, and sparingly on the face, as a dry, flaky skin moisturiser. It’s also as an excellent intensive treatment for dry hair ends and cracked heels. Great when ski-ing, or to protect ultra-sensitive skin from chlorinated pools.

If you suffer from eczema or any other allergy, please see our Five Tips for Treating Eczema-Prone Skin.

    Brilliant

Posted by Alexandra Rees on 6th Sep 2019

My mum bought me this as a gift and my boyfriend and I went through it so quickly, I bought my own tub. Great for dry skin on the body; for feet; for use on damp skin for beautifully dewey skin and as a conditioner for Afro hair. Smells very ‘clean', not over artificially scented or like salad dressing! This will be a life long staple of mine.

    My favourite for dry skin

This has become my favourite winter staple for my dry skin, I have recommended it to so many people! It's especially good after shaving or waxing my legs to heal the skin.

    Great product.

I have used this alongside the repair lotion when eczema in my ears flared up, it has helped greatly to smooth the skin and stop the itch. It's the only thing that works and a little goes a long way, so worth the cost.

    Great for problem skin

I have been using a small tester pot for a while and it's great for various bits of me that are dry and flakey or need some extra TLC like my lips and heels.

    Brilliant organic multi-tasking pot

Posted by Mrs A on 21st Jun 2019

I am new to Odylique and ordered the little sample of rich balm to try. Impressed it is 100% organic. It is lovely and rich, goes on well with a lovely "honey and butter" sort of consistency. I have used it for lips, cuticles and heels so far. It definitely works and I am going to order a big pot. I shall keep refilling my little pot to keep in my handbag or makeup bag. So glad I can ditch the off the shelf lip balms, cuticle creams and heel gunge and replace it with one lovely organic pot. I have a big problem with dry cuticles due to working outside and the things I have tried thus far have only mildly worked. This balm has made a noticeable improvement in 2 days flat, just putting it on before bed. I would imagine that you could use this stuff anywhere you liked and that it would work as an indulgent treat for your face once a week or more often if you are very dry. I can see myself not re-stocking other expensive creams in my arsenal and almost having just one pot - like the old days of Granny's Cold Cream! Only problem is, it makes me want to try everything else on the Odylique website...help!

Wonderful and it is helping my skin

    Posted by Sandyt95409 on 26th Dec 2018

I am so happy with this product. I am using it with the Repair Lotion at night. My skin is showing great improvement. It is well worth the price and should last a long time as it is a large jar.

    Saved my split ends

Posted by Tamsin on 25th Sep 2018

I always suffered from split ends and dry lengths. When I switched to the gentle herb shampoo it was suggested that I use the ultra rich balm instead of conditioner.
I am now addicted. I use a tiny amount on wet hair, literally like half a pea size, rub it between my fingers and then apply to the ends of my hair.
When dried naturally my hair feels like I've just had it cut.
Also with the residue on my hands my hands feel super soft too.
    It's a must have!

Beautiful smelling and multipurpose pot of balm

Posted by Kimmy on 10th Aug 2018

I suffer from mild contact eczema on my hands and wanted to try this balm to ease the problem instead of steroid creams. After a number of weeks use, I decided that it is a lovely deep moisturiser for dry skin, but may not be absorbant enough to hydrate itchy eczema skin. It smells fantastic and I've enjoyed using it, even if it didn't help in the way I'd hoped. It leaves skin a little greasy temporarily but who cares? It's gorgeous.

I've also used a very small bit on the ends of dry / damp hair to moisturise and protect and as a lip moisturiser. I've used the pot a fair amount and still have well over half left after 4 months.

    Love it

Posted by Nad on 9th Jun 2018

A little pot of this lasts for longer than you'd expect. You only need a little bit to reap the benefits. I use it on my lips, ends of hair and any areas of skin that are particularly dry.

    Multi use balm

Posted by Sally on 8th Jun 2018

Great for hair to prevent frizz - tiny smear to ends of wet hair and it dries bouncy not frizzy. I use it over repair lotion to lock in the moisture and it's amazing on dry cracked heels and dry cuticles. Fantastic to take on holiday as it avoids multiple bottles and pots. Lasts ages too.
