Rose Velvet Body Lotion 100ml

I have used Odylique products exclusively for many years and love them, very little else suits my skin. I had been really looking forward to trying this body lotion as I love the scent of rose, love Timeless Rose Moisturiser, and the other body lotions. The product description and reviews talk about the subtle scent of damask roses, perhaps I just got a bottle from a bad batch but mine smells overwhelmingly and very strongly of rose GERANIUM and I can't detect any actual rose!! Yes, it's in the ingredients list but so it is in the moisturiser where it does not overwhelm the rose at all, but blends subtly. I don't totally dislike a geranium scent in moderation but it is awfully strong and isn't what I paid for! I'll be sticking to repair lotion in the future. On the plus side the texture is lovely and I'm sure it will be very moisturising.

As a loyal customer pretty much since we started (wow, thank you!), you're clearly a fan of the very subtle natural fragrance of most of our products and Rose Velvet is rather the exception with its greater concentration of essential oils. This is a lovely body lotion, it absorbs very quickly and has the most beautiful scent, like walking through a walled rose garden on a summer's evening. A little goes a long way. Leaves my skin feeling soft with no stickiness.

This product is an absolute delight! My favorite scent is Rose so this is perfect for me and the fact that it is all natural I think is really helping my psoriasis/eczema as it is not as dry/inflamed anymore! I am done with chemical packed creams that cost a fortune, at least with this you are paying for the quality and luxury! Will definitely buy it again. I also used it on my face and it wasn't too rich, really made my skin feel soft and nourished....Thank you Odylique! :)

I have a rare condition called Dermatomyositis ( which as you know is an auto immune condition ) I was reluctant to use any body lotion on my skin as I had a rash all over my body. On reading about your Rose Velvet Body Lotion I thought I would give it a try and my skin is now very soft and I am sure it helped to clear the rash. Many thanks to Margaret and the team.

Very faint scent of roses and overpowering smell of citronella or similar. Great for keeping insects away but not what was promised. OK moisturiser but nothing exceptional, overall a disappointment after all the hype

The texture is lovely. Soaks in beautifully and lovely soft feel to the skin. However the fragrance is not my cup of tea at all. I was envisaging a gorgeous rose scent like the facial moisturiser but i can smell rosehip and what smells like citronella. Maybe it will keep the mosquitoes away who knows?! It would have been appreciated to have been offered a replacement . I would have been happy to send back. But because it had been opened i was told no. Customer service and 1 months guarantee at Pai skincare is a much better service. Perhaps worth reviewing your policy. I do buy regularly from you. Kind regards.

This is such a treat. I apply it after a shower and it is so luxurious. It absorbs beautifully, leaves skin feeling so soft and the smell...I don't even know how to describe it! It is like a warm cuddle. Comforting, old-fashioned (in a good way) just absolutely lovely. I really hope it is put as a permanent addition and not just limited as I want it for birthdays, Christmas and any other occasion I can persuade someone to buy it for me :)

Tried a small sample of my friend and concluded it is indeed a treat for your skin. 100% natural is the best advert! On my wish list for the next big occasion!
