Product Overview

A wonderful moisturiser that smells gorgeous, sinks in extremely quickly, and leaves your skin absolutely silky and velvety” – Norma, Odylique Customer

“I can’t live without it” Denise van Outen, in Reveal magazine

A luxurious, antioxidant rose day cream with soothing and regenerative organic rose. This natural moisturiser is excellent for sensitive skin and may be suitable for skin prone to rosacea. Rose helps calm any redness, while promoting skin restoration. Powerful extracts of rosehip and sea buckthorn smooth the skin and promote cell renewal. Deeply moisturising yet light-textured oils of jojoba and coconut, plus aloe juice and the hydrolat of damask roses absorb fully, leaving the skin soft and velvety smooth.

Rose Moisturiser is naturally high in antioxidants to reduce fine lines and counteract the ageing and collagen-destroying effects of 'free radicals' and sunlight. Treat your skin to the best day cream that nature can offer.

With its light texture and antioxidant powerpack, this moisturiser is also suitable as an eye cream. It is suited to sensitive and hypersensitive skin as well as combination, normal-dry and mature skin types.

Actives:

  • Calming & restorative rose water and rose
  • Rejuvenating and smoothing rosehip
  • Pro-collagen sea buckthorn (a rich plant source of a natural component of our skin, an Omega 7 fatty acid, the production of which declines with age)
  • Soothing and moisture-locking aloe vera
  • Hydrating jojoba and coconut
  • Protecting & moisturising raw shea

Properties:

  • 100% natural, 94.1% organic (Soil Association certified)

    Perfect moisturiser

Posted by Linda on 9th Jul 2017

This is my final step morning and evening after creamy coconut cleanser and rose tonic. It's a lovely light moisturiser that doesn't make your face feel overloaded with product and yet hydrates and leaves skin feeling happy and comfortable. I love the ingredient list - as one of those people drawn to reading all sorts of ingredient lists and sometimes felling baffled, this one is reassuring. The fragrance is light and natural - I'm not attracted to strong artificial perfumes so this is perfect for me.

    Great moisturiser

Posted by Sarah on 12th Jun 2017

This is a great moisturiser, very light and so does not clog pores and lets your skin breathe. I have rosacea and find this moisturiser, together with the Calming Rose Super Tonic, are a great combination to calm my skin down.

    Lovely light cream

Posted by Gemma on 1st May 2017

Very easily absorbed. It seems to suit my combination skin and leaves no shine on the T-zone. It also does not seem to clog pores. I like to use this at night only as I use an spf cream in the day. I would probably need a richer cream in the winter, hence 4 stars not 5.

I have really sensitive skin and get break outs all the time but the rose moisturiser keeps my skin moisturised throughout the day without any sign of redness! Highly recommended for anyone with sensitive skin!

    Excellent

Posted by Kim on 10th Mar 2017

I have extremely sensitive skin and have raised red areas on my cheeks which get worse when aggravated. I have only been using this for 3 days or so but right from the first use my skin felt amazing. I had no burning and my skin feels silky smooth. My face is no longer dry. As for the redness on my cheeks, the bumps are going down and the redness is fading. If this is what has happened in just 3 days, I can't wait to see what they look like in 3 months. I bought the trial size but will most definitely be buying the full size. It also smells gorgeous, but that to me is just a bonus!

    Essential!

Posted by Carolyn on 7th Mar 2017

I've been using this moisturiser for the past 16 years since I was introduced to the original version. It's gone through a few formulation and packaging changes but is still the only moisturiser for me. I always make sure I have a spare in hand as I'd hate to be without it. This and the gentle herb shampoo would have to be my "desert island" toiletries!

    lovely product

Posted by hannah williams on 25th Feb 2017

i have used this rose moisturiser for a few days, with the lemon face wash and the superfruit concentrate and i love it. It is so calming on my red reactive skin and my skin is so soft and i now have a nice dewy healthy skin look rather than dry flaky patches and the spots that i did have are now nearly gone. Gentle soothing cream with a gorgeous rose smell.

    Doesn't absorb into the skin

Posted by Ru on 10th Feb 2017

I bought many samples to test after reading all the fantastic reviews. I usually use Neal's Yard and PHB Ethical Beauty but like to mix up my regime. So far i've used the the superskin concentrate, rose timeless moisturiser, avocado moisturiser and the rose tone for the past week . For some reason, i just don't feel as though its being absorbed into my skin. If anything, i feel as though the product is just sitting on top of my skin leaving my skin feeling taught and dry, yet oily to the touch. It's sad because the i really wanted to like this brand!

Hi Ru. Several things come to mind here... Firstly, it seems like a lot of products to introduce/apply all at once so it could be enthusiastic overload. Are you (for instance) using Rose Moisturiser with Superfruit Concentrate by day or alongside Avocado Cream by night? Most importantly, not under the moisturisers as this could hinder their absorption? Our Rose Moisturiser is light and tends to be quickly absorbed alone. You could perhaps apply a couple of drops of the Superfruit Concentrate on top if your skin is still dry after application – or just use at night, alternating with Avocado Cream. All in all, I'd recommend cutting back a little on application as they are all deeply-moisturising. Hope this helps!
