Tropical Bliss Body Silk

I've been looking for an authentic organic body lotion for ages, especially to help with keratosis pilaris on my thighs. I'm 55 and I've had this condition since adolescence but it seems to have worsened since I've been through the menopause. I was concerned that this lotion wouldn't be moisturising enough as it feels so light, but it is of a surprisingly rich consistency and I'm pleased to report that it does the job amazingly well, without leaving a disconcerting, greasy film on my skin. It is absorbed very quickly and my skin stays moisturised for the day, even using relatively small amounts. (I really like having a pump in the bottle; it means I'm not tempted to over-apply.) Keratosis pilaris never goes away but the appearance of my skin has definitely improved and is now really soft.

I wasn't sure about the fragrance to begin with - it's not my idea of 'tropical', it smells faintly herbal/medicinal to me - but it's quite subtle and I actually really like it, now.

Please, would it be possible to offer the body lotions in a larger 500ml size, as you do with the herbal shampoo? I want to keep buying Tropical Bliss Body Silk and would be happy to pay for a larger, and more economical, bottle.

Thank you for your lovely comments, Viv! We do not have plans to make the body lotions in 500ml at the moment, but it is something we could consider in the future if the demand is high enough!

I was saving this lotion for a holiday but started to use as I have thin, easily bruised/marked skin through using my asthma medication. The skin on my arms is particularly fragile. After using this I have found its healing and nourishing my skin amazingly well. So much so I have just ordered another. I love that it is light and sinks in easily. I can't say enough good things. Love this body lotion. The fragrance is rich to begin with mellows to a subtle chocolaty scent. The lotion is light enough so I can dressed without it transferring to my clothes but rich enough to keep my skin well moisturized. After the spell of gorgeous sunny weather we've been having I've been using it as an aftersun lotion and it has left my skin silky and dewy. The more I use it the better my skin feels.

I received this for mothers day, and cannot believe how soft and smooth my skin felt from the first application. A definite on all lists from now on!

I love this! It's super light, so rubs in easily, but it's also deeply moisturising, it doesn't just sink in and leave you needing to moisturise again like some light creams do. It smells heavenly, like you're in a spa, and sinks in quickly. My skin felt like silk after using it, and it was soothing for some rough/eczema patches on my elbows and the backs of my knees. Lovely!

I thought I'd give this a whirl after having such a positive experience with the Repair Lotion, and I actually prefer this now. My sensitive skin seems to like it just as well, and I prefer the more 'tropical' smell. It has a lovely light texture which applies easily and sinks in quickly, so it's perfect to apply out of the shower before dressing.

Have been using for a little while now on my hands during the day and sometimes at night. It is very moisturising for my dry skin, and really softens your skin. It feels very silky, and it also smells nice.

Update: The more I have used it the more I love it. The texture is beautifully silky and I'm getting addicted to the lovely smell! I have always found it very hard to find a body moisturiser which I can use during the day (most are far too greasy). Your Tropical Bliss Body Silk is absolutely perfect for using through the day, and I am able to use my computer and do many other things straight away without feeling I have greasy hands. I'm just over the moon with it. So much so, I have just ordered another tube plus one extra for my daughter - I know she will love it.
